Smiles in the sky

I photographed her at an orphanage. It was surely one of the greatest times of my life. We played loud music to dance with them. And she was such an amazing dancer, not because of her moves but her innocence. She was dancing like a bird released in the open sky. Smiling for someone is sweet, But making someone smile is the best feeling especially when it has a thousand reasons behind it. Her smile was worth everything she deserves. Just my camera wasn't enough to capture it's essence.

Painful wrinkles

'Touch the pain through my wrinkles'
I'm really glad that I could make this picture. It is so because it has many reasons behind it. This was captured on my first photowalk. Going for portraits in street photography asks a lot. You need to be very humble. You got to have the courage of speaking confidently with strangers. And if I have learnt anything, most important of all if they deny leave it. Respect their privacy. This is what I love the most about photography, it never fails to teach you something.

Bombay

Lets do justice and start with -
'Ae dil hai mushkil jeena yaha,
Zara hatke, Zara bachke
Ye hai Bombay meri jaan'

'If Mumbai is the city then Bombay is its feeling '
All of what we have been hearing about Bombay is true indeed in every sense. Bombay is called the city of dreams. But let me tell you, it is neither about the city nor about the dreams but its the journey which takes you there.

Innocence

Childhood brings along with it many priceless qualities. One of them is innocence. I have never seen a child with some or the other innocent spark. If only now everyone could go on with such simplicity. A child's expression says it all. Now when it comes to capture them, it has been a miserable misconception these days. Street photography is not just framing the poor. It is the lifestyle and what you see through it.

Shadows

All the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow.
Don't let your past run over you, as your shadow does. It follows you whether you are on the right track or not. There was this beautiful line in a recent movie and it really moves you if you get it right, 'Don’t Let The Past Blackmail Your Present To Ruin A Beautiful Future'.

Solitude

Ganpatipule, Maharashtra 2016
To go out with the setting sun on an empty beach is to truly embrace your solitude. Beaches and sunsets always have those vibes that gives you what everyone craves for, inner peace. This was shot at Ganpatipule, Maharashtra. A small town at Konkan coast of the state.

Patterns

Navaratri, 2016
Every person's life follows some pattern. It totally depends on them how to focus on it.
The decorations in the photograph are for Navaratri. It is a festival dedicated to the worship of the Hindu deity Durga. The word Navaratri means 'nine nights' in Sanskrit. During these nine nights and ten days, nine forms of Devi are worshipped.

Nagpur, 2016
Monsoon Mornings are refreshing enough to cheer you up from any backdrop. This is one of the many examples when I experienced how pleasing it can be. Monochrome describes its story the best. This was shot at a random place in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
